Hitman's next Elusive Target is The Guru

There is a complication, though.

5

Agent 47 gets another elusive target and this time it is a self-help expert who likes to take his clients' money and run.

Hitman's The Guru mission requires that Richard J. Magee is eliminated in Sapienza, but this time the mission has a hitch. Magee's mark is Keith Keeble, the son of a wealthy family who wants the young man freed from The Guru's influence. A meeting has been arranged by attorney Katherine Feller, providing a window of opportunity for the takedown. The hitch is that neither Keeble or Feller can be harmed or subdued in any way or the mission is a permanent failure.

The mission window began today and will run through December 23 at 8 a.m. ET / 5 a.m. PT. As with all elusive targets, min map markers and Instinct mode are disabled and players will only get one shot at the target. To get the mission, players must have the Sapienza pack installed.

If you want to get into the holiday spirit before or after the mission, be sure to take on the Wet Bandits in the Holiday Hoarders contract. The mission is a tribute to the bumbling Harry and Marv from the Home Alone movies.

Are the Elusive Targets strictly limited events?

Yes and if you fuck up, you've lost your chance permanently.

Wow that's pretty weak. I understand the "immersion" aspect of doing something like that, but thing happen. Internet d/c, cat jumps on you, wife picks a bad time to ask something.. etc.

Is there a similar mode within the game, and is this tracked somewhere (like an achievement)?

I was interested in the game, but it sounds like if you weren't an early adopter on this, you might have missed out on a chunk of gameplay permanently?

these are basically an optional extra/bonus on top of the game for the people that already 20/20 the existing maps in the game and killed the regular targets in every way possible.

it's a pretty neat challenge - like you really only have one chance at each of the elusive targets, so make it count!

I picked it up a few weeks ago, you still get the full base game which is a not insignificant chunk of content. The elusive target missions are just gravy. I totally fucked up with the last one, ended up in a gunfight which almost always ends poorly for me.

The elusive targets are one of the best features of the game specifically because they force you to play differently. Don't worry about the ones you've missed, just enjoy the new ones every two weeks.

Also, the elusive targets are separate from the core of the game. They're specifically something different.
