Dreadnought by Greybox will be putting you in the captain's chair of massive starships in a team-based combat flight simulator. You'll have to master firing arcs, special abilities, and maneuverability on each very different class of ship if you want to survive the carnage these ships can wreck on each other.

I'm excited about this game, because even though I loved the Freespace, TIE-Fighter, and Independence War series I always wanted to be able to helm a powerful capital ship into battle. I know there was the X series, but ain't no body got time for that.

Dreadnought has been on the radar since 2014, but from the footage shown at PlayStation Experience 2016, it seems like the game might finally be getting a release in 2017. For now you can sign up for the closed beta for Playstation 4 which should begin early next year.
