Rainbow Six Siege Year 2 season pass is available now, and it comes with eight new operators

Making good on its promise for an additional year of content for Rainbow Six Siege, the season pass for Year 2 is available now.

You'll find Year 2 on the PlayStation and Xbox stores. Priced at $30, it contains new operators, headgear and uniform customizations, and a bevy of VIP perks. A full list of content can be found below this story.

Note that purchasing Rainbow Six Siege's Year 2 season pass replaces the current season pass. Meaning, you'll only be able to unlock Year 1 operators using in-game currency. (Of course, if Year 2's content works similarly to Year 1, maps will eventually be made available for free, and you'll be able to unlock Operators using in-game currency if you're willing to put in the work.)

VIP perks will carry over until February 7, 2018.As an added bonus, purchasing the Year 2 season pass before February 7 of 2017 gets you a free Obsidian weapon skin.

But that's not all! Ownership of Year 1's season pass, plus purchase of Year 2's, bequeaths you 600 R6 Credits.
