VR SPORTS CHALLENGE: Football Gameplay with Oculus Touch

As part of our ongoing review of Oculus Touch, Asif Khan captured some exclusive gameplay footage of VR Sports Challenge. Please take a look at his tremendous field general skills, before the Cleveland Browns sign him.

      I would love if something like this became available as an actual teaching tool. Unfortunately it seems like you probably need a really low latency full body tracking solution and not just your hands. But at least for something like practicing reading defenses from first person while a play develops this is pretty awesome.

        Totally. Some football teams are using VR simulators.

          yeah there was a good article about Carson Palmer using them. I think those were just 360 video though basically so the QB essentially gets to re-run the practice reps off the field. I'm not aware of any simulators that play more like Madden where you could just programmatically control what the user is about to see (ex imagine the coach getting to throw coverage simulations at you like flash cards and focus on particular wrinkles based on what you're struggling with)
