Cities: Skylines prepares for Natural Disasters release next week

THIS IS NOT A DRILL! NATURAL DISASTERS ARE COMING! WE REPEAT! NATURAL DISASTERS ARE.... AHHHHH!

Paradox Interactive has announced Cities: Skylines Natural Disasters will be making a mess of all of our cities on November 29 for $14.99.

The Natural Disasters expansion will allow tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, forest fires, meteor strikes, and more to run rampant in our cities. While it’ll be fun to see our citizens run for their virtual lives, more experienced mayors will want to attempt to keep their cities safe by investing in new early warning systems and disaster response teams. If you can’t wait for a disaster to happen naturally, mayors can always trigger them deliberately if they just want to watch their world burn.

A new developer diary has been published today to compliment today’s news. The video takes a look at some of the disasters coming to the Natural Disasters expansion as well as how mayors can save their citizens from them.
