Remedy Entertainment teases upcoming new trailer reveal

Remedy Entertainment is sitting on a new trailer for something, which it says will be 'coming soon.'

Remedy Entertainment has teased an upcoming announcement on what’s believed to be a new project.

The announcement of the upcoming announcement was teased on Remedy Entertainment’s official Twitter profile. The teaser stars Remedy Entertainment’s creative director Sam Lake as he introduces a number of the studio’s projects over the years. The teaser trailer promises a new trailer will be coming soon, which we hear some of its music at around the 15-second mark.

The teaser doesn’t reveal when the announcement will be made, only that an announcement is “coming soon.” While CrossFire 2 is currently in development with an unknown release date, we have a feeling the teaser is for a previously-unannounced game.

That could also be cool, but I think Rockstar Games would publish a Max Payne 4.

Incidentally Max Payne 3's lead writer was Dan Houser, who also wrote Grand Theft Auto IV / V and Red Dead Redemption (and I assume he's busy with the latest Read Dead so who knows...)

IMO, they're just a bit too old for this, especially the first game. The animations and camera movements are so cheesy, that they would need more than a reskinning to make a remastering worthwhile.

I dunno, seems like nothing's too old for a cash grab nowadays.

Yeah they would have to do something like the Black Mesa team and HL2

Don't think they have the license.

No, they look fine and don't need a re-master.

Widescreen functionality without hacks would be nice.

Sam Lake as Max Payne 4. Only this time the game is called Sam Lake.

Hopefully it is a Alan Wake remake back to the version before it was consolized.
