King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and other Neo Geo classics will make their way to PS4 this year

Hamster Corporation will continue to port arcade games to Sony's platform.

Hamster Corporation announced that classic Neo Geo games including Metal Slug and King of Fighters will arrive on PS4 later this year (via GameSpot).

Games will launch under the "Arcade Archive Neo Geo" label. The King of Fighters '94 will lead the charge when it arrives tomorrow, Thursday, October 27. Other classics slated for 2016 include Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury, Alpha Mission II, and World Heroes.

NAM-1975 and Neo Turf Masters will be released in 2017.

Hamster has built a reputation as a purveyor of classic arcade game ports on PS4. Some of its previous releases include Rygar and Contra.
