Epic Games continues to add Heroes to its free-to-play MOBA, Paragon. Today, the studio has announced the burst caster vampire, Countess, will soon be making her presence known as she will be released on October 25.
Countess appears to be quite the formidable opponent as she stalks her prey with the help of misdirection and unpredictability. Her abilities allow her to quickly single out and assassinate a key target, to then vanish into the darkness.
Here’s Countess list of abilities:
- Blade Siphon - Countess quickly spins her blades around her, causing damage in a circle around her. Passive: Countess regains a percent of her max health every time she kills an enemy, with bonus health for a Hero kill.
- Shadow Slip - Countess targets a nearby enemy and blinks to it, dealing damage and applying a slow. If the target is a minion, it is executed. Reactivate to return to the original position.
- Dark Tide - Countess sends out a roiling cloud of darkness in front of her, dealing damage to all enemies in the area of effect.
- Feast - Countess jumps to a nearby enemy Hero, forcing them to look at her and stunning them before dealing a massive burst of damage. Countess is locked down for the duration of the attack.
As is the case with every Hero released, Countess will be available for free for all Open Beta participants on PC and PlayStation 4.

How is this game? I've read next to no user impressions about it.
It's good. It's similar to SMITE, but there's some CCG aspects to it to improve your Hero during battle.
It's currently in open beta, so it wouldn't hurt to try it out.
