tweet from Raven Software's Amos Hodge confirmed a small yet nice touch that Call of Duty 4 fans should expect when they meet up online in this fall's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster (via Charlie Intel).

"MWRemastered will have the original MP announcer VO for the original modes," wrote Hodge, lead designer on the remaster."

Hodge went on to clarify that CoD4's announcer will call the shots (pun intended) in the game's original modes, though neglected to mention whether or not players will hear its dulcet voice in new modes.

Raven Software is an Activision-owned studio, and is in charge of updating the 2007 classic for release exclusively with premium editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare later this year.
