The Apple Watch is the Second Highest Selling Watch in the World

Apple CEO, Tim Cook, took to the stage at the 2016 Apple Keynote to discuss some really interesting statistics surrounding their approach to wearable technology, the Apple Watch. According to the information provided by Apple, the Apple Watch jumped to the #2 spot on the list of the world’s most bestselling watches, second only to Rolex. They also revealed that the Apple Watch has become the number one smartwatch in the industry. This is huge news for the Apple Watch, which many people considered a bit of a failure when it originally released last year to high prices and fairly low sales.

Of course, what this means for the future of the Apple Watch is unclear. What we are sure of, however, is that Apple will continue to update the watch’s software, as well as work to build even better iterations to help bolster the reputation that the original watch has set for them in the wearable industry.
