The Call of Duty XP fan event has kicked off, and of course Activision wants to give players some news about the game. The good news is that PS4 players should be ecstatic, PC and Xbox One players less so.

A beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is kicking off on October 14 only for PS4 players. Those that pre-order the game will get first access. In addition, it was revealed that Jackal Assault will be added to the game as a PlayStation VR experience for free sometime later this year. Players will get to hop into the cockpit of the Jackal fighter to see what dogfighting is like in the game.

While Xbox One players may get a shot at the beta - that is TBD - Activision said PC players will not get a shot at it. However, all three platorms will be happy to know that they will be getting 16 original multiplayer maps from Call of Duty Modern Warfare as remastered versions in the Digital Deluxe and Legacy editions of Infinite Warfare. The first 10 ill be released with the game when it launches on November 4, while the final six will come efore the nd of the year.
