Today's Nintendo Direct revealed a new 3DS IP called Tank Troopers.

The tanks are not your average military vehicles, as the tank's attacks will be based on the trooper that pilots it. Some of the different attacks include a freeze attack to slow movement, an electric attack to disable or paintball to block enemy view.

The game offers single-player and a local six-player multiplayer mode, the game will have download play, allowing six players to make war together. More game modes will be revealed closer to launch.

The game is scheduled to come to the eShop later this winter.
