Mario Maker 3DS Is Coming To A 3DS Near You

The popular level-creation tool is coming to Nintendo's handheld.

If you enjoyed creating courses for other Mario fans to devour in Super Mario Maker for Wii U, you'll soon be able to take that fun on the road with the upcoming Mario Maker 3DS, newly announced during today's 3DS-focused Nintendo Direct.

The new release will be focused on bringing players together with local friends, allowing you to share courses via wireless and including most (but not all) of the courses from the original Wii U release.

With it hitting during the holidays, you should have no excuse for not creating courses for all of your favorite Shack friends and editors since you can get your practice in on the Wii U version. Saddle up with your new Galaxy 3DS and get to work! We'll be waiting to see what you come up with.
