Update: Capcom has confirmed with Shacknews that Dead Rising will be making its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. That's not all, as Dead Rising 2 is also coming to the previously-mentioned platforms. "Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC," a Capcom PR rep confirmed to Shacknews. "In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon."

Original Story:

While Capcom and Microsoft are working on Dead Rising 4, it appears we may be getting more Frank West than we originally anticipated as a list of trophies for the original Dead Rising have popped up online.

The Dead Rising trophy list popped up on Exophase, which is a website that keeps track of not only trophies on PlayStation 4, but also achievements on Xbox One and Steam. The list of trophies look to be identical to Dead Rising’s original list of trophies, which could be a hint at its future re-release.

Capcom is no stranger to offering updated versions of their older titles as we’ve seen the Devil May Cry series, several Resident Evil games, and a handful of Street Fighter titles get the HD treatment. With the upcoming release of Dead Rising 4, this would be the most opportune time to re-release the original Dead Rising, especially since Frank West appears to be the protagonist in the upcoming game.
