Wish you could play Super Smash Bros. on a platform outside of Nintendo's consoles and handhelds? Brawlout may be your chance.

Angry Mob Games, best known for a number of mobile and PC games like Muffin Knight, Guerilla Bob, and Alien Vs. Predator: Evolution, has announced Super Smash Br… we mean, Brawlout for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Brawlout is set in a vivid world where the future of civilization is put in the hands of its anthropomorphic animals. Each creature fights for the honor and pride of its people while having a distinct advantage during battles. Some examples of these advantages include powerful projectiles or long-range whip attacks, which can be evolved with additional options for combos or more advanced attacks.

We're all fighting game fans, so we've built our dream platform fighter", says Bogdan Iliesiu, CEO at Angry Mob Games. "We've heard what players miss from classic fighters and what they love about new ones, and Brawlout is designed to give people the best of both worlds, whether that's ruining friendships around the TV or going online to anger strangers in tournaments."

After seeing the following trailer for Brawlout, we think it’s safe to say Angry Mob Games was inspired by Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. series. There are many aspects of the popular platform fighter that appear to have made an impact on Brawlout, including their health percentage and how they require to be knocked out of each stage in order to defeat them.

Brawlout is expected to release in Q1 2017.
