E3 2016: Dead Rising 4 will be a Microsoft exclusive for a year

Sorry, PlayStation 4 folks. You aren't getting this zombie killer for awhile.

Some timed exclusive agreements are fairly short. A game will drop first on Xbox or PlayStation, then show up on the rival console usually in about a month or two. As for Dead Rising 4, be prepared to wait quite awhile.

The zombie killing selfie shooter that marks the return of Frank West back to Williamette, Colorado, will remain an Xbox One exclusive for a year after its planned December 6 release date, a Capcom rep said at the comapany's E3 booth. The game is being developed by Capcom Vancouver.

That's a long time to wait if you don't own the console. If you own a PS4, you'll have to get your zombie killing some other way until then. Or, as Microsoft hopes, you'll buy an Xbox One.

To elaborate: use a if a consonant sound follows; an if a vowel sound follows.

          a unicorn
          an umbrella

Of course if you somehow pronounce unicorn like oonikorn instead of younikorn, feel free to use an.

Hah no problem. It makes perfect sense now that you say it - we don't say "I have an green apple." Thanks for setting me straight.

Yeah so MOST of the time if its a vowel it will start with an. But there are exceptions like above.

It originally said "an MS exclusive," changed MS and forgot to change the article.

Aw, interest -1 for 'Bone exclusivity.

We better get the GOTY edition with all the DLC when they do port to the PC.

Every XBone game they showed at the conference was coming to both XBoX and PC, so the way this is positioned as a Microsoft exclusive and not an XBoX exclusive makes me assume that this would be the same.

I think they mean console exclusive. All Microsoft 'exclusives' will be coming to Windows 10 at release.

Wouldn't be the first time. That's pretty much exactly how DR3 worked: Xbone-exclusive launch title and PC deluxe version a year later.
