At Microsoft's E3 press conference, representatives from Rare rolled out the red carpet for the world premiere of gameplay from Sea of Thieves.

The footage shows off the same vibrant color palette and cartoonish veneer from last year's reveal, with a glimpse of gameplay such as combat between crews on opposing ships, which should feed into the game's loot-based systems.

Like many games announced at Microsoft's conference, Sea of Thieves will release on Windows 10 and Xbox One.
