We learned earlier this year Microsoft had planned to revealed Forza Horizon 3 during its E3 2016 press event. Considering how popular its Forza Horizon series has become, especially after the release of Forza Horizon 2 last Fall, many driving game fans have been looking forward to hearing more about its release.

Today, Microsoft has officially announced Forza Horizon 3 is coming to the Xbox One and Windows 10 with the Play Anywhere system, which allows you to purchase the game on one platform and play it on either at anytime. During the presentation Microsoft showcased the game's seamless multiplayer experience, as well as full four player campaign coop for the first time in a Forza game.

The game's announcement as a Play Anywhere title is huge, especially after Forza made its debut with Forza Apex on Windows 10 earlier this year. This is a pretty big step for the series, and it's going to be really interesting to see how the cross-play systems work in action. The new game will take place in Australia, with over 350 cars for players to check out and race, including the new 2017 Lamborghini Centenario.
