Well, it's a bit earlier than expected, given that EA Play begins in about an hour, but EA decided to drop the official Titanfall 2 single-player trailer on us, complete with the October 28 launch date.
The trailer offered some details, such as the name of Jack Cooper as the character who could be the focal point of the game. A mech is being "interviewed," revealing that its original pilot was KIA, and when asked who authorized the change in pilot assignments, the mech responds "We had no other options." It also goes inot some details about the protocols it has in place for pilot interactions.
It is quite possible that this was leaked a bit too early given that it promotes a multiplayer gameplay video at the end that is still private and webpage on tech news that goes to a 404. But hey we'll take it.
We'll see what more that have to say once the event begins.
