Syberia 3 is finally closing in on release, and publisher Microids has dropped a new video for fans to get a look at how the game is being developed behind the scenes.

Creator Benoit Sokol and his son Hugo share some insights in the creation of the game and what has happened in the story for protagonist Kate Walker since Syberia 2. The plot of the current game revolves hanging with some nomads and taking some snow ostriches to the holy steppes so the can reproduce.

The game is coming out December 1 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile, and will be localized in 11 languages.

Looks fantastic! The many long cutscenes were a highlight to me -- especially in the second game, where they had their own sub-menu, and you could play all of them in sequence -- and hopefully will feature heavily in this sequel as well.

I didn't quite get the plot hints, has she been tossed into a soviet-themed mental hospital for her mammoth delusions? :)
