Steamworld Heist coming to Steam, PS4 and Vita next week

It's got steam-powered pirate robots, so it must be good.

Steamworld Heist was a nice little turn-based retro shooter that we thoroughly enjoyed when it came out for 3DS late last year. So we are just giddy with excitement that not only is the game coing to PC via Steam on June 7, it will be coming to PS4 and Vita at the same time.

The game, which sees steam-based robot pirates trickshotting their way to loads of loot, will sell for $19.99 on Steam, with a 15% discount for the week after launch. The PS4/Vita version will be cross buy, allowing you to buy one and get the other for free. In addition, the Outsider DLC pack will be available at launch as well for $4.99.

Users in Europe will be able to purchase the PS4/Vita versions a day later on June 8. The game is available for pre-order at a discount.
