Destiny reveal coming before E3

Bungie promises a reveal at what awaits players in the game's next big expansion pack due out later this year.

Bungie's got a lot of Destiny irons in the fire, including Destiny 2 and another expansion for the original game. Some, but not all, will be revealed next week, when Bungie broadcasts a Destiny Reveal Stream.

The stream will kick off on Thursday, June 9, at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern. "Save the date. Follow our channel. This will be your first glimpse at what awaits you later on this year, followed by a deeper dive with the development team," per a blog announcing the stream.

Last month, a leak teased that Destiny's forthcoming expansion will be titled Rise of Iron, and will include a new weapon type and raid. And, if rumors can be believed, the expansion will be larger than The Dark Below and House of Wolves, the game's first two expansions.

We'll know more after next week's reveal stream on Bungie's Twitch channel.
