Titanfall 2 coming before the end of the year, EA says

Latest financial report outs the planned timing of Respawn's sequel.

It looks like Titanfall 2 really will be coming before the end of the year, confirming some of the speculation we had seen last month.

In it's latest financial report (via Videogamer), a graphic listed Titanfall 2 alongside Battlefield 1 for a Q3 release. If you are unfamiliar with financials, EA's fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31, so Q3 puts the release between October and December of this year. And Battlefield 1 was already confirmed for October 21.

Of course, all of this is contingent on no unforseen delays. Earlier in the day, BioWare revealed that Mass Effect: Andromeda would be delayed until early 2017, which the graphic also reflects. Note the "All launch dates are subject to change" at the bottom.

With EA Play promising the "worldwide reveal" on June 12, we will probably be getting a lot more information on Titanfall 2 than the previously released teaser trailer, so we'll keep you posted as we learn anything more.
