PSA: Early access phase of Overwatch beta is live

If you preordered the game on or before April 29, blah blah blah... why are you even reading this?

The open-access beta for Overwatch, Blizzard's team-based shooter inspired by Valve's Team Fortress 2, is live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, across all regions.

Blizzard broke the news on its forums, where it posted a deployment schedule for users who pre-ordered before April 29 as well as dates and times for players behind the pre-order curve.

"The Overwatch Open Beta will be available May 5–9 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One," per the announcement. "Players who have pre-purchased or pre-ordered Overwatch by April 29 will be eligible for early access starting May 3. Each phase of the Open Beta (Early Access and All Access) will launch in all gameplay regions at the same time globally."

The game's open beta is open to all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
