Xbox Games with Gold for May 2016 have been leaked
A promotional image may have just informed us what games will be made available for free in May.
[Update: Microsoft has confirmed the information in our story is accurate.]
We’re most likely a few days away from the official announcement of what games Xbox owners will receive for free as part of the platforms Games with Gold promotion, but today it appears its lineup may have leaked prior to Microsoft’s official unveiling.
According to an image that popped up on Reddit today, it appears Xbox One owners can look forward to a free copy of Defense Grid 2 between May 1 and May 31 and Costume Quest 2 between May 16 and June 15. Xbox 360 owners may be able to download GRID 2 and Peggle between May 1 and May 15 and May 16 to May 31, respectively.

The leaked image, which you can see for yourself above, looks like a rather legit promotional image teasing May’s Games with Gold selection.
We’ve reached out to Microsoft for comment and will update this story accordingly.

man, Defense Grid 2 was such a let down to me. I absolutely LOVED the first and could just not get into the second.
