The Witcher 3 expansion Blood and Wine gets new screenshots

Geralt is heading into a new colorful realm, with plenty hiding in the shadows.

The folks at CD Projekt RED have been hard at work on the Blood and Wine expansion for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. And just to show us just how diligent they have been at it, they have released some new screenshots to tease us and make the wait even more agonizing.

“I can already tell you Blood and Wine is a fascinating story, with every sort of twist and turn you’d expect from our writers,” Community Coodinator Marcin Momot said in a release. “Toussaint, the new realm we’re creating for the expansion, is unlike anything you’ve seen in Wild Hunt – carefree and colorful, but your gut never stops telling you that there’s some real dark stuff happening underneath all that,. We’ll be revealing more information in May.”

The first expansion, Hearts of Stone, came out in October, and a release date for Blood and Wine has not been officially announced, although speculation has been that it could be early June. Either way, we know that the world of The Witcher 3 is a great place to adventure, so whenever Blood and Wine does drop, you know we will be all over it.
