The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC release date may have been leaked

Could we be seeing more of Geralt in June?

11

The first of two massive expansions for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hearts of Stone, released last Fall leaving fans of the game to wait for CD Projekt Red to reveal when Blood and Wine is ready to be released. While the developer has yet to make any official statements regarding the upcoming expansion, one online retailer appears to have leaked its release date.

Polish gaming website GRYOnline had listed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Blood and Wine for a June 7th release. Since its accidental listing, the publication updated its release date to now say it has yet to be announced, but you can see the original listing in the screencap below.

CDPR previously revealed Blood and Wine would be released in the first half of 2016, which means the June 7th leak could certainly hold true. Adding to its credibility is the fact both The Witcher 3 and Hearts of Stone both released on a Tuesday, which June 7th certainly falls on.

We’ve reached out to CDPR for comment and will update our story accordingly.

This is the final DLC right? I've gotten into the habit of waiting for all the DLC before getting deep into an RPG.

I did that recently with Pillars and it's been great now that the bugs are worked out and party AI was fleshed out.

This is exactly how I felt. It was so satisfying to go back into that world and have more to do.

I totally agree. After finishing the main story I told myself I'd just go around exploring and mopping up side missions, but it was so anticlimactic and depressing not interacting with the main cast of characters.

I had to wait for the first dlc to truly get back into it fully and mix in side missions. Also loved seeing Shani play a big part in the dlc story.

I tend to agree, though I did NOT do that with fallout 4.

I wish they would delay it even longer and add MORE to it or commit to a third major dlc... Right now the knowledge that that will potentially be the last we ever see of Geralt/TW3 really bums me out tbh...

She was my least favorite part of the game. Learned to tolerate her gameplay but she always came across as a bit of a spoiled brat. I may just be bitter because I got the "worst" ending by not coddling her and instead calling her out when she was just being whiny.

Awesome. I should be done with DS3 and FO4 by then. Perfect timing.

I didn't play the first DLC until this week and it is so good. It feels like playing a full normal length game at like 12-15 hours (maybe it was a little less than that but it took around 3 long play sessions to finish.) This one is supposed to be even bigger.
