Stoic Studios has confirmed The Banner Saga 2 will launch on both Mac and Windows PC on April 19.

To celebrate, Stoic Studios is currently discounting its pre-order on Steam by 10%, and will continue to keep it discounted until The Banner Saga 2 launches. That means fans of the original game can pick up it’s long-awaited sequel for $17.99 instead of its original pricing of $19.99.

We spoke with Steve Escalante from publisher Versus Evil about The Banner Saga 2 just a few months ago. In our interview, we chat about the game’s new features and gameplay. Be sure to check it out while you wait for the game to release in a few weeks.

I gave up on the final battle after several tries. It took me most of the game to really grok the systems and by the time I got to the end I was fairly underpowered I think.

the leveling systems seems rather unforgiving. fits the theme of the game's setting at least.

while it sucks it looks like Alex isn't returning to do the art, I found that he's putting together a Thief inspired Mark of the Ninja esque game. https://killersandthieves.wordpress.com/

Holy shit Killer's and Theives looks awesome. It's taking the art style of Banner Saga and the gameplay of This War of Mine sorta. Two games I loved. Thanks for bringing this to my attention haha.
