We’re just a week away from the official release of Hitman, but today, Square Enix has released one final beta prior to its launch.

The final Hitman beta is now available for PlayStation Plus members to participate in. PlayStation Plus subscribers won’t need to have pre-ordered Hitman in order to take part in this final beta.

If you have yet to experience the Hitman beta that launched on both PC and PlayStation 4 in the past, it takes place twenty years prior to the Paris Showstopper mission. Agent 47 is introduced to the ICA and meets his future handler, Diana Burnwood, for the first time.

The Prologue features two free-forming training hits, which will introduce the player to the many features and mechanics included in the new Hitman game.

If you prefer to go into Hitman fresh when it launches next week, you might want to reconsider taking part in this weekend’s beta. That’s because the Prologue mission will also be included in Hitman’s first episode, which means you’ll end up playing through it anyways when it launches next week.
