Dead Island: Definitive Collection Will Come With A 16-Bit Side-Scroller

If this retail listing is any indication, we'll be seeing the game paired with PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

If you missed out on Dead Island somehow during its run across several games, you might want to pony up for the Dead Island: Definitive Collection, especially as it seems as though it's being paired with a new game.

According to a retail listing, the collection is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will feature Dead Island: Definitive Edition, Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition and Dead Island: Retro Revenge.

Dead Island: Retro Revenge is the newest of the lineup, described as a stand-alone 16-bit game that was previously revealed by the AU classification system earlier in the year. The Definitive Collection is priced at $39.99 and is shambling toward a May 31 release.

While Dying Light is the superior zombie game, there's fun to be had within the Dead Island universe, so that's not a bad price if this turns out to be true. And I'm personally quite interested in the side-scrolling runner game. Blame my mobile gaming conditioning.

Update: Oh, here's the trailer!
