Drew Barrymore Is Having A Pokemon Party and Didn't Invite Me

I guess we're no longer BFFs, Drew.

When you think about Pokemon, what celebrity immediately comes to mind? If you said Drew Barrymore, wow! Me too, totally.

Actually, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but that's beside the point. It looks like Barrymore is hosting her own elite Pokemon event to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary at Hollywood Hills' Sunset Tower penthouse tomorrow.

A select number of guests (bloggers, social media influencers, and more) will be hanging out with Drew to check out Pokemon nail art, gift bags, and more. Pikachu will be there too, presumably for plenty of photo-ops.

Apparently Drew is interested in the way Pokemon handles its branding:

"I'm immersed in branding and brand expansion every day with my own companies and I think what Pokemon has done here is so smart and such a perfect way to expand their footprint," which is probably celebritese in this case for "I'm being paid a lot of money to endorse this."

Or something. I'm just salty because I want to go to a Hollywood Pokemon party.
