Cities: Skylines is being hit with a significant amount of Snowfall today with city planners expected to deal with the precipitation, the use of trams, more buildings, and more hats for Chirpy. To help players deal with the upcoming Snowmaggedon, Paradox Interactive has revealed the official patch notes for both the core version of Cities: Skylines and its Snowfall expansion.
First, for those who are about to witness the Snowpocalypse, Paradox’s patch notes reveal Cities: Skylines Snowfall will add a Winter theme, 3 winter maps, 3 new winter parks, 4 new landmark buildings, Winter citizens, trees, and props, Northern lights, and much more.
As for players who don’t believe battling Snowzilla would be any fun, all players will still receive an update today that will expand public transportation UI, provide a theme editor, weather variations, line detail / visibility icons, and a lot more.
Paradox says the Snowfall expansion should be available in the afternoon CET.
We just highlighted a number of noteworthy updates to both Snowfall and the base Cities: Skylines experience, but here’s the full patch notes for you to peruse:
