Remedy and Microsoft announced today that Quantum Break will hit Windows 10 PCs on April 5, right alongside the Xbox One version. Plus, those who digitally pre-order by April 4 will get the PC version for free.

Other goodies come with Quantum Break as well. Remedy is including Alan Wake with the Xbox One version, complete with its two add-ons The Signal and The Writer. Pre-ordering Quantum Break for Xbox One also nets you Alan Wake's American Nightmare. Each of them will be playable via the Xbox One backwards compatability.

Finally, Microsoft is releasing a special edition Quantum Break Xbox One bundle, which includes a 500GB white Xbox One, and download codes for Quantum Break, Alan Wake and its DLC packs. It will be $349, and be available starting on March 29.

The GPUs seemed to have been switched. The minimum spec has the high end cards and the recommended spec has the previous gen cards.

Also Scalebound, ReCore, Fable Legends, Gears of War 4.

It's only a matter of time before Crackdown 3 is too.

MS is doing a great job justifying this new PC, but also completely talking me out of buying an XBO.

Awesom I'm looking forward to this one since I did enjoy Alan Wake quite a bit despite its faults.

Its pretty cool to see a crossbuy preorder like that from Microsoft. You usually see that kind of stuff from on Sony devices. The cynical side of me is think this is to drive attention to the Windows App Store again. They also released Rise of the Tomb Raider on the Windows 10 app store.

I really think more publishers should support cross-buy with PC. Not necessarily cross-play but buy. If you ran in to situation like with Battlefront where the PC matchmaking is horrible you could switch to the console version without feeling like you wasted money.

More to push Windows 10 in this case, which is the minimum OS required. It's a DirectX 12 game with no backwards compatibility.
