Moving Hazard video shows the tools of the zombie-controlling trade

Zombies will be some of your best allies in the upcoming Moving Hazard and a new video is showing just how players will be able to control the undead to do their bidding.

Over the weekend, players were treated to the first footage of Moving Hazard, a team-based FPS game from the folks at Psyop Games and IllFonic. The big hook (besides being the latest from one of the key names behind Red Dead Redemption) is that players will be able to control hordes of zombies.

A new video released today shows some of the ways in which that will be possible. The Pheromone Attractor Molotov (PAM) uses pheromone clouds to grant you control of any nearby zombies. The Damper is a defensive weapon that electrocutes any enemy player that goes near it, causing paralysis and blindness. Finally, the LRAD is pretty much zombie bait, as it will attract any hordes of nearby zombies. This can be used to create a diversion, allowing players to either escape or take their shot in the chaos.

To get an idea of how these weapons work in the field, listen to the valley girl in the video below. Moving Hazard will need some refinement before release, so look for it to hit Steam Early Access in early March.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
