Ubisoft Finally Lets The Cat Out of the Bag With Assassin's Creed Identity

Finally, the Identity has been revealed.

Ubisoft has finally released its first official footage of the upcoming Assassin's Creed Identity, an action-RPG based on the series set in the Italian Renaissance.

The video features creative director Reynald François, discussing the differences between Identity and the rest of the Assassin's Creed games, as well as commentary on controls and visuals of the game ahead of its February 25 release on iOS.

It's been a tango of back-and-forth with this game over the past month, where previously Ubisoft released a trailer, removed it, but left the app open in soft-launch elsewhere so YouTubers like Lonnie have already created Let's Play videos of a good portion of the game. So, technically this isn't the "first video" of the game in action, but I guess officially it is. Officially.
