Take-Two Interactive has reported stronger-than-expected results for its fiscal third quarter 2016, which ended on December 31, 2015. What makes this even more impressive is the fact the company didn’t have any real flagship game come out within that time.

The largest contributors to Take-Two’s strong results were Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, NBA 2K16, WWE 2K16, and the Borderlands series.

As of now, Grand Theft Auto V has sold-in over 60 million units worldwide across all platforms and continues to expand with new free content updates for Grand Theft Auto Online. That’s not all in the world of GTA as Liberty City Stories was released on iOS and will soon be available on Android.

Take-Two Interactive has the potential to perform even better in the next quarter as we can look forward to the release of XCOM 2 on February 5 and Battleborn on May 3. Mafia III is planned to release during calendar 2016, so those two games will be the only heavy hitters the company expects to be released in the following quarter.
