Li-Ming casts a spell on Heroes of the Storm starting tomorrow

No one will be safe from her magic missiles and Arcane Orb.

Heroes of the Storm is about to receive unlimited arcane power as Li-Ming will teleport herself into the Nexus starting tomorrow.

We were first introduced to Li-Ming just a few weeks ago, who is a wizard from the Diablo universe who can attack using magic missiles and her Arcane Orb. Just a few days later, Li-Ming’s abilities were officially released, which included the two previously-mentioned abilities as well as the ability to Teleport.

Here’s her full list of abilities:

  • (Q) Magic Missiles - Li-Ming sends out a trio of missiles at her adversaries. The trajectory of the missiles change, depending on the set target.
  • (W) Arcane Orb - A larger orb of energy slowly moves towards a target, damaging it and any nearby enemies. The farther it travels, the more damage it does, all the way up to 300%.
  • (E) Teleport - Transports Li-Ming a short distance. It has a short cooldown, allowing her to move around frequently.
  • (R1) Disintegrate - Taken from Diablo III, this energy beam deals heavy damage for 2.5 seconds and can hit multiple targets. The player cursor controls the beam's direction.
  • (R2) Wave of Force - This deals damage and knocks back any nearby enemies. This one is more about setting up combos for nearby allies.

Can’t wait to get better acquainted with Li-Ming? Well, checking out her Hero Spotlight video should help, although be careful. Her spells pack a mean punch, especially her Heroics.

I'm enjoying the diversification of heroes that they're going for. I didn't like Lunara quite as much as I thought. Oddly, it's the gallop that just bugs me. If they just changed it to a run it might bug me as much. I know that's pretty lame, but I've read others comment on the gallop too.

I assume by cannon you mean high burst dps? I've found kael'thas to be my go-to for stupid burst dps.

        They did improve Lunara's responsiveness.

Can't remember if the fixes were in last week's Wednesday update, or in tomorrow's, but they were certainly noticeable. She still gallops, but stutter-stepping feels more fluid now.

Oh, good. I'll have to check her out again. I liked the idea of her constant fade attacking with stacking dots. If it's been tweaked I'd def play her more.

I played a lot of her and Graymane on the PTR.

Graymane's a lot more fun and his changes were made public last week. Lunara feels smoother and much stronger, but I think her changes are coming in tomorrow's patch.
