TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan comes out of its shell this summer

Platinum Games has 'officially leaked' its upcoming title, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan.


Activision, Nickelodeon and Platinum Games have officially announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan.

TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan will be a third-person action game featuring everyone’s favorite Heroes in a Half-Shell as they protect New York City from aliens, mutants, and the Foot Clan. The title’s main campaign, which is an all-new original story written by Tom Waltz, can be played either in single-player or with up to three other players in four-player online co-op, all of which is presented in a cel-shaded art design.

We first learned about TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan just last month as the Australian Advisory Rating System rated the game prior to it being announced. After over a month of silence, Platinum Games revealed it would officially leak (or, in other words, announce) the game today.

TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan is scheduled to release this summer both digitally and at retail on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
