Mortal Kombat XL releasing in March 2016 with base game and all DLC

This should be seen as the ultimate Mortal Kombat X experience considering how much content it will launch with.

NetherRealm Studios has announced Mortal Kombat XL will launch on March 1, 2016 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Mortal Kombat XL will be the ideal package for those who have yet to jump onto the Mortal Kombat X bandwagon. The package will include the main game and all downloadable content that’s been released up to the upcoming Kombat Pack 2.

As you can see from the announcement trailer, Mortal Kombat XL will include every fighter, every skin, ever kombo, every x-ray, every fatality, and much, much more.

Is this the Ultimate Edition (ala MKvsDC Ultimate, MK9 Ultimate), or is it a Ultimate-so-far, with a real Ultimate down the road?

I would think "real Ultimate down the road"

They be insane to stop adding characters and levels, even thought here are a lot chars already.

You never know they may call it quits and just start making MK11. I still think MKX is a perfect MK game, the only thing is wanting more characters and levels everything else is perfect in my opinion. Backgrounds have always been horrible in the 3D MK games and they finally 100% fixed that and the same with super moves, they are nice and detailed with rad particles and FX.

As a mega hard core MK fanatic they could easily keep MKX and just keep adding more levels to fight in and more characters and I would 100% be fine with that. It really has reached such a high quality where I don't have any criticism anymore. Which is a amazing achievement for the team.
