Despite losing CEO David Brevik late last week, Marvel Heroes is rolling on and is expecting the big Marvel Heroes 2016 update later this month. With that said, Gazillion has revealed the first batch of Heroes expected to come to the game soon and has already put them up for pre-order.

Advance Pack 3 will feature a mixture of seven playable heroes (and villains) that are currently in the Marvel Heroes pipeline. They are Asgardian warrior Angela (winner of the Game Informer poll), Inhuman monarch Black Bolt, the deadly ninja assassin Elektra, Spider-Man arch-nemesis The Green Goblin, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury (the Samuel L. Jackson version, though the classic version is also expected via alternate costumes), genocidal android Ultron, and one player to be named later. The Deluxe Edition of this pack will also include an additional costume for each character and two new Team-Up characters in the form of two All-New, All-Different Avengers: Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) and Spider-Man (Miles Morales).

More information on this package can be found on the Marvel Heroes website. No release date has been issued for Advance Pack 3, but pre-orders are available now, but not for cheap, as the standard pack comes in at $59.99, while the Deluxe Edition is running for $79.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
