Shack's Arcade Corner - The Real Ghostbusters

With Ghostbusters being a hot topic in 2015, Greg Burke managed to track down an arcade cabinet for The Real Ghostbusters, released back in 80s.

Ghostbusters has been a prominent topic in pop culture this year with the announcement of the upcoming franchise reboot featuring an all-female cast. In fact, a picture of the cast just went up earlier today.

Coincidentally, that happens to fall on the day that Greg Burke decided to re-visit the classic Real Ghostbusters arcade game. This top-down shooter was based on the classic animated series of the 80s, shooting more for a different kind of Ghostbusters experience. So it might not be so much a traditional Ghostbusters experience, but hey, it's got the music! And nothing says Ghostbusters more than that!

I'm shocked I hadn't seen that game before. But, happy to have missed it; because it looks terrible.
