Telltale Games has tackled some of the most popular licenses there are out there, and it looks like Batman's about to be next.

During The Game Awards 2015, a teaser trailer for a Telltale-branded Batman adventure showed off a very small glimpse into what we can expect from the upcoming project. It's certainly not much to go on, but if we know Telltale, it's going to be one heck of a party.

I'm super excited for this. I love the Batman mythos and Telltale can do cool things in that setting.

It's not going to be a GAME, though. It'll be an interactive movie. I'll reserve judgment, but I feel about Telltale's formula the same way I've felt about LEGO games for the past 8 years: same game, different coat of paint.

I'm OK with that. The Arkham games have given me enough of true Batman GAME over the years to be satisfied with that. Their games aren't priced at a full $60 so I think it's OK for it to be more of an interactive story than a "traditional game," even though calling something "not a game" just because you don't jump or shoot is in itself debatable.

It would be cool if they focus more on Batman the detective than just the superhero.

I think that's the idea. They can focus on the more cerebral Bat-villains.

I should know better than to post when I have a headache. I'm excited about this. :D Looking forward to seeing some in-game footage.
