Tripwire Interactive has released the latest content pack for Killing Floor 2, Return of the Patriarch, today on Steam. The new content pack adds a new perk, a new boss, two new maps, and more.
The Return of the Patriarch content pack marks the arrival of Killing Floor’s infamous final boss, the Patriarch. The Patriarch was formerly known as Kevin Clamely, the CEO and founder of Horzine Biotech, although he’s changed quite a bit since then. In Killing Floor 2, the Patriarch is even deadlier than before as he’s equipped with new attacks very few players will survive from.
The content pack features two new maps, Farmhouse and Black Forest. Both maps are located in desolate forest locales, which makes the experience of fighting hundreds of Zeds even more terrifying.
To round out the list of updates, players can expect a new playable character, the Zed-conomoy and Trading Floor Store, server welcome screen support, various bug fixes and improvements, and Steam mod and map workshop support.
We recently went hands on with the Return of the Patriarch content pack, so while Steam is updating your copy of Killing Floor 2, head on over and give it a read to see what we think.
