Divekick: Addition Edition's final update introduces Nidhogg's Fencer

Iron Galaxy has one final content update lined up for Divekick: Addition Edition and is introducing one last guest star.

While Iron Galaxy has mainly moved on to Killer Instinct and other endeavors, there's still a place in the developer's heart for Divekick. That's why it looks like there's one last content update lined up for Divekick: Addition Edition, which is set to introduce the game's final DLC character. And like Johnny Gat before him, it's a guest star from the gaming world.

One wouldn't have expected the unnamed Fencer from Nidhogg to make any sort of guest starring appearance, but that's exactly who's lined up for Divekick. Known primarily for running his opponents through in Messhof's side-scrolling fighter, The Fencer brings his sword along for the battle and uses it as a special move, alongside his ability to dive and kick. And just like in Nidhogg, The Fencer can toss the sword at certain times to give him something of an edge against his opponents.

The Fencer is free to all Divekick owners on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita. Those that have yet to pick up Divekick can grab it now on any of those platforms with a permanent price reduction, bringing the cost down to $5.
