Telltale's Game of Thrones reaches its end with 'The Ice Dragon' next week

Telltale is ready to wrap up its Game of Thrones series in a big way, simultaneously releasing the finale on Tuesday for all available platforms.

Telltale Games is ready to bring the story of the House Forrester to a close. The sixth episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is nearly at hand and now has a release date. Fans of George R.R. Martin's world will be able to play through the season finale next week.

'The Ice Dragon' follows the House Forrester as they are caught in the center of the War of the Five Kings and must do what they can to ensure their survival, whether it's through diplomacy or more violent means. For fans of the HBO show, this finale will take place just prior to the events of the fifth season. Normally, Telltale staggers its releases across platforms, but that will not be the case this time. The Game of Thrones finale will be available on PC, Mac, PlayStation and Xbox platforms, and iOS and Android on Tuesday, November 17.

For those that have not played through the story, Tuesday will also mark the time to catch up, since the retail versions of the full series will also be released on that day. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 owners will be able to pick up the full season on disc for $29.99.
