Guitar Hero Live is continuing to add new songs to its growing lineup of GHTV songs. A week after pledging to release over 70 new songs to the streaming service by the end of the year, Activision and FreestyleGames have released six more songs to the Premium Show rotation. Those songs include:

  • The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army
  • Iggy Pop – Real Wild Child (Wild One)
  • Leon Bridges – Coming Home
  • Evanescence – Going Under
  • Bully – Trying
  • Lonely The Brave – Victory Line

As a reminder, new music additions operate differently in Guitar Hero Live. These songs will be available as part of unlockable Premium Shows first. Next week, they'll hit the on-demand catalogue, where they can be played for in-game currency. In two weeks, they'll hit the regular channel rotation.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
