Micro Machines Is Being Resurrected For Mobile Multiplayer Later This Year

Remember if it doesn't say Micro Machines, it's not the real thing!

The Micro Machines brand seemed like one that was destined to die out in the wasteland of kids' toys out there these days, but it appears it's being resurrected with new toys on shelves and a new racing game coming to both mobile devices and tablets later this year.

It's been a long time since I zipped around tracks with kitchen items strewn about or on tabletops back with my DOS version of Micro Machines, but I still revisit it from time to time when I can. So I'm glad to see the series being rebooted in some manner, even if it appears to be mobile only at this point.

    Don't get too excited, they've resurrected this one so many times and Micro Machines Turbo Tournament '96 on the Mega Drive/Genesis is still the best IMO!
