Life is Strange finale trailer prepares for the end

The apocalypse is right outside Arcadia Bay and Max struggles to prepare for it in the launch trailer for the final episode of Life is Strange.

There's only one episode left in Life is Strange. Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment's strange tale of growing up took a twisted turn in the last episode and now, they've released a new trailer to offer an idea of what to expect in the big finale.

And no, there's no need to worry about spoilers. This trailer does not give away the big cliffhanger from the last episode. It does, however, indicate that Max has started to put two and two together about the approaching apocalypse and its tie to her powers. Does she have the power to stop what's coming? Or is Arcadia Bay doomed?

Life is Strange's finale arrives tomorrow and you'd better believe we have some major questions leading up to it. In fact, it looks like one of them has already been answered in this very trailer.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Just finished it. I don't really know what to say. I've never cried due to a video game before. Fuck.

I think this might be my goty. Which I realize is an insane thing to say in the year The Witcher 3 and MGSV came out. But neither of those games came anywhere close to effecting me in the same way as Life is Strange.

It's been an hour since I finished the game and I'm still a mess, emotionally raw in a way that's rather disconcerting. Maybe that's the beer talking. I dunno.

It took me a good hour or so to decompress after finishing it as well. I just had to do nothing for a while, the ending just left me drained haha. This is easily my #2 GOTY behind Witcher 3. Incredible game.

Apparently this is also released on PS4 but in the UK PSN Store it only shows the PS3 version available. What gives?
