Treyarch has revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be the first game ever to make all of its campaign missions available from the moment we start the game.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Treyarch senior executive Jason Blundell revealed this feature is being introduced as a way to give players more choice. "Consumers and game players in general are far more mature these days,” he says in the interview. “There are so many things vying for our interests today. It's about, how do they want to consume it? Maybe they put it down on level two, and then they're in work the next day, and some guy says, 'dude, you've got to check out level four!' And he's like, 'okay, I'll have a quick look.' That's totally fine. I think it's their choice."

Blundell mentioned Netflix’s model of offering all of the episodes of a particular show in order to give its viewers the option to watch any of the episodes, although he feels Black Ops 3 players will do less jumping around if they want to understand the story. “When Netflix release(s) House of Cards and do all the episodes, does everyone just jump to the end and go and play the last episode? Sure you can. But it's about the journey, though, right?”

Treyarch also revealed Black Ops 3's 9th Specialist, Firebreak, recently. As you could imagine by its title, Firebreak is al about fire as they wield a flamethrower called the "Purifier." Their special ability, called Heatwave, stuns enemies with a huge blast of hot air.
