Weekend console download deals: It's Batman Day!

Tomorrow is Batman Day, so Xbox and PlayStation are both offering up digital deals on the best Batman games. Plus, there are a slew of deals for games that aren't Batman, but would probably be better if they featured him! (Those would be games like Devil May Cry and Assassin's Creed.)

"I'm Batman!"

Yes, tomorrow marks Batman Day, for some reason. What does that mean for the average gamer? It means deals on the best Batman games across both Xbox and PlayStation. So put on your Batman mask and look for Arkham Knight to go on sale, as well as its Season Pass. The rest of the Arkham catalog is on sale, too, as are some of the LEGO Batman games.

Alright, so maybe some people out there aren't looking for Batman. Those people are weird, but fair enough. Xbox will also have Devil May Cry for Gold members, while PlayStation offers up the Assassin's Creed franchise. Also, it's your last chance to get the monthly freebies before they get rotated out. ** - Please note that users have reported that Payday 2: Crimewave Edition on Xbox One has had severe matchmaking issues. Overkill Software issued an official statement earlier this week saying fixes are coming as soon as possible. In the meantime, buyer beware.
